Tsé Bitʼaʼí [mono/landscape]
Also known as Shiprock, Tsé Bitʼaʼí is a 1,582-foot-tall inselberg located within the Navajo Nation in extreme northwestern New Mexico. Shiprock is the erosional remnant of the throat of an ancient volcano. Six dikes of black igneous rock radiate out from the monadnock in several directions; the one pictured in this drone capture is the largest, running to the south-southeast for five miles at a height of up to 150 feet.
